Sacred Scottish Yew Trees

Full day tour
Max 4 persons
Packed lunch recommended!

Yew trees are extremely important and holy in ancient and not so ancient Celtic culture. Also some of the specimens we visit are very impressive.

We will start in Hawick and visit old Minto Kirk yard to see the amazing Yew trees but also the weird and wonderful carved grave stones. From there we will visit Dryburgh Abbey and see the ancient Yew on site.
After Dryburgh we will either visit the enchanted yew forest at Traquair or we will go to the Great Yew at Orminston (permission from owners provided).
At each tree there will be time to absorb the energy of these beings and meditate at the trees.
